How to get to Heaven from Auburn
In this day of advanced technology and accessible transit systems, it is easy to get directions and to travel in a variety of means from one place to another. Whether by car, bus, plane, or train there are different routes to get to your destination. There is only one way, however, to get to heaven and the Bible is the atlas to get us there. Heaven is the home of God who is perfect in holiness. (Isaiah 6:3) Our atlas makes it very clear that sin is the roadblock that keeps us from getting to heaven. The Bible says that "...There is none righteous, no not one" (Romans 3:10) and that "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) and that "the wages of sin is death...".
The good news is that Jesus Christ came to pay the penalty for sin by dying on the cross as a substitution for all who will trust in Him. The declaration of the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 is the gospel truth "that Christ died for our sins according to scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures". Christ died to provide salvation from sin for those who believe in Him. There is nothing that we can do to earn a ticket to heaven because Christ has already paid the price in full. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6) There is no work that any person can perform that can get one to heaven from Auburn. The only way to heaven is to "... believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved..." We invite you to trust Christ as your personal Savior today.
